Dean Peterson, DVM

Cassandra Fowler, DVM                                                                              Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Cassandra Fowler joined JAMC in June 2010.  She graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.  Immediately following graduation, Dr. Fowler did a year long internship with Kendall Road Equine Hospital.  She just recently became engaged to Mark, and is planning a wedding in September of 2011, at which time her name will change to Dr. Lewis.  The rest of her family consists of Onyx, a 6 year old black lab, Reva the cat, and many salt water fish.  In Dr. Fowler's spare time she enjoys riding horses, taking care of her fish, even though they are a lot of work, drawing, and traveling (especially on the motorcycle).  Dr. Fowler loves to to see puppies and kittens, but the best part of her job is seeing a pet come back for a recheck appointment after an illness, back to their happy, normal self.

Sarah Thurber, DVM

Dr. Thurber is a small animal veterinarian who joined the practice in August 2009.  She received her BA at Augstana College and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  Her favorite part of being a veterinarian is helping clients keep their pets happy and healthy.  Her family consists of her husband Sam and twins Gina & Tony.  She also has a Miniature Schnauzer named Georgia and a cat named Smokey.  In her free time Dr. Thurber enjoys spending time with family, sewing and playing the French Horn.
